FBM KLCI FUTURES CLOSE HIGHER
KUALA LUMPUR, April 19 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today.
At the close, spot month April 2024 and May 2024 added 3.0 points to 1,547.5 and 1,549.0, respectively, while June 2024 and September 2024 gained 1.5 points to 1,548.5 and 1,537.0, respectively.
Turnover was marginally higher at 7,681 lots compared to 7,644 yesterday, while open interest decreased to 48,310 contracts from 48,522 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) rose 2.81 points, or 0.18 per cent, to 1,547.57 from Thursday's close of 1,544.76.
