FBM KLCI FUTURES LOWER IN EARLY TRADE
KUALA LUMPUR, April 16 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower today in line with the underlying cash market’s performance.
At 9.27 am, spot month April 2024 shed 5.5 points to 1,536.5, May 2024 and June 2024 slipped 4.0 points each to 1,539.5 and 1,540.0, respectively, and September 2024 reduced 5.0 points to 1,527.0.
Turnover stood at 1,763 lots while open interest amounted to 42,388 contracts.
At 9.45 am, the FBM KLCI fell 8.29 points to 1,534.24 from 1,542.53 at yesterday’s close.
