KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 26 (Bernama) -- After a seven-year trial, the High Court today sentenced former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to 15 years in prison and a fine of RM11.4 billion, in default 40 years’ imprisonment, after he was found guilty of 25 charges of money laundering and abuse of power, involving RM2.3 billion of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) funds.
