KUALA LUMPUR, May 20 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi extended his condolences to the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) editor-in-chief Arul Rajoo Durar Raj and his family on the passing of his mother, Kaliamah Karuppaya, last night.
In a Facebook post today, Ahmad Zahid said the loss of a mother is a huge loss and difficult to describe in words.
“May the entire family of Arul Rajoo be given strength and fortitude in facing this sad moment,” he posted.
Kaliamah, 77, breathed her last at her home in Behrang Hulu, Perak, at 8.10 pm after suffering from kidney failure-related health complications over the past year.
