KUALA LUMPUR, April 17 (Bernama) -- Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali has paid tribute to enforcement officers in his ministry, describing them as “unsung heroes” in safeguarding price stability and the supply of essential goods.

In a Facebook post marking the 54th Enforcement Day of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) today, he said their role is significant, and their contributions are felt daily, even if they are rarely in the public eye.

He said the team’s ongoing efforts on the ground have helped prevent profiteering while ensuring subsidised goods reach intended recipients without leakage.

“Working tirelessly around the clock, they are on the ground inspecting, monitoring and taking action to ensure no party takes advantage and that the people’s rights are protected,” he said.

Armizan also commended the officers’ resilience, courage and integrity in carrying out their duties, urging them to continue serving with dedication and professionalism.
