IPOH, March 4 (Bernama) -- A 61-year-old Malaysian-born woman with United States citizenship was found dead in a house filled with piles of rubbish and discarded items at Taman Golden Dragon, near Kampar, today.
Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) operations assistant director Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said it received an emergency call at 3.22 pm regarding a woman found unresponsive inside a locked double-storey house.
“Upon arrival, we found the police and Ministry of Health (MOH) personnel already at the scene. The front entrance could not be fully opened, as it was obstructed by a massive pile of old items and rubbish,” he said in a statement.
He added that the victim was confirmed dead by MOH personnel before the firemen arrived.
Sabarodzi said that since the front door was completely blocked, firefighters had to break open the back door to facilitate the removal of the body, which was then handed over to the police.
