28/02/2026 12:12 AM

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27 (Bernama) -- The RIUH Raya Baik-Baik 2026 programme, running from Feb 25 to March 1, serves as a platform to strengthen local products and designs ahead of Aidilfitri, said Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.

He said the programme brings together 73 brands, including over 20 brands participating in RIUH for the first time, featuring various offerings such as apparel, food and beverages, performances, and handicraft workshops.

"...this time there are more than 20 brands showcased that are joining RIUH for the first time, so it's not all the same, and I have asked the RIUH team to identify new brands for us to bring to the general public.

"I am very proud because all the products shown are the result of the creative ideas of young Malaysians," he said after visiting the RIUH Raya Baik-Baik 2026 Programme at Raintree Plaza @ TRX here today.

Also present were Communications Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah, Bernama Chief Executive Officer Datin Paduka Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin, and Acting Chief Executive Officer of MyCreative Ventures Zainol Haqim Zainol Rashid.

Elaborating further, Fahmi said the event, organised by MyCreative Ventures, proves the continuous commitment of the Ministry of Communications in elevating the creative ideas of local talents to mainstream platforms.

Meanwhile, Fahmi said the programme also targets an attendance of 60,000 visitors throughout its five-day run, particularly during the weekend.

"...we expect that Saturdays and Sundays will usually, God willing, be crowded. So we invite everyone to come; there is much to see and buy. For those who haven't bought their baju raya yet or want various products, you can come here," he said.

RIUH Raya Baik-Baik 2026, themed ‘Kampung Kita’ (Our Village), runs for 12 hours daily from 3 pm to 3 am, providing visitors the opportunity to shop in a more relaxed atmosphere at night.

Various activities are scheduled throughout the programme, including creative workshops, artist performances, as well as making Raya cards, weaving ketupat, learning basic sewing for traditional toys, and various other activities provided for free.
