KUANTAN, Feb 24 (Bernama) -- Pahang recorded the highest score in the 2025 National Unity Index (IPNas), reflecting the state’s strong spirit of togetherness, mutual respect and sense of belonging.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, in a Facebook post, said the achievement goes beyond numbers and demonstrates the unity of Pahang’s multi-racial and multi-religious community.
He attributed it to governance grounded in justice, transparency and balanced development for the well-being of all.
“Alhamdulillah, Pahang recorded the highest IPNas 2025 score of 0.817, making it the strongest state in terms of unity and harmony in Malaysia,” he said, while thanking the people of Pahang.
He added that the state government will continue to strengthen unity, preserve harmony and ensure development is shared by all.
Earlier, National Unity Minister Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang said Pahang topped the index with a score of 0.817, followed closely by Melaka (0.816) and Sarawak (0.791).
