Nearly RM1.4 Million In Prizes Up For Grabs In PTPTN Simpan SSPN Draw Campaign 2026

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 29 (Bernama) -- The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) is turning appreciation into rewards, offering Simpan SSPN depositors the chance to win attractive prizes totalling almost RM1.4 million in its 2026 Draw Campaign.

PTPTN chairman Datuk Seri Norliza Abdul Rahim said the campaign, which kicked off on Jan 1, will reward 954 winners with prizes in three special categories, namely the WOW! Plus Loyalty Draw 2026 (annual category), the WOW! Plus Series Draw and the Simpan SSPN Baru Slay! Draw.

“For the first time, PTPTN is introducing the Simpan SSPN Baru Slay! Draw to encourage participation from the younger generation. This draw is open to Simpan SSPN Prime and Simpan SSPN Plus depositors aged 16 to 29 who open an account or make additional savings during the campaign period.

“Depositors are required to make their savings via the myPTPTN application during the campaign period to take part in this draw,” she said at the launch of the Simpan SSPN Draw Campaign 2026 here today.

Norliza added that the campaign not only fosters a culture of saving but also offers all depositors the chance to take part in the Simpan SSPN Draw 2026, held throughout the year.

PTPTN said in a statement that the WOW! Plus Loyalty Draw 2026 offers an exciting line-up of prizes, including a grand prize of a Honda CR-V 1.5L E, Perodua Ativa 1.0L Turbo AVs (two winners), cash prizes of RM30,000 (three winners), and RM1,000 consolation prizes (250 winners).

“For the WOW! Plus Series Draw category, the prizes offered are RM20,000 cash (one winner), RM15,000 (two winners), RM10,000 (three winners), and a consolation prize of RM500 (50 winners) for each series.

“The Simpan SSPN Baru Slay! Draw will give away a Yamaha NVX 155 (one winner), iPhone 17 Pro (four winners), DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combo (10 winners), and RM500 consolation prizes (250 winners) for each series,” said the statement.

PTPTN said the WOW! Plus Loyalty Draw 2026 was held as a token of appreciation for loyal depositors who had opened accounts by Dec 31, 2025, and increased their savings during the campaign period.

“Meanwhile, the WOW! Plus Series Draw is open to both new and existing depositors who opened accounts or made additional savings during the campaign period,” it said.

To take part in the campaign, depositors only need to open an account or make additional savings, with every RM50 in net savings, including savings and takaful, automatically qualifying them for five draws.

“Depositors using the myPTPTN application, salary deduction, or direct debit for their savings will be entitled to double the number of draws, namely 10 draws in total, enhancing their chances of winning,” said the corporation.

At the same event, PTPTN honoured and celebrated the winners of the WOW! Simpan SSPN Draw 2025 in the WOW! Annual Draw and WOW! Superheroes Series Draw categories.

For 56-year-old retired teacher Umi Kalsum Abd Razak, winning the WOW! Annual Draw in the Platinum category and taking home a Mercedes-Benz A250 4MATIC AMG Line crowned years of saving with Simpan SSPN Plus, which she had joined in 2018 for her six children due to its various benefits.

“Saving with Simpan SSPN is not just about the chance to participate in prize draws, but also offers benefits such as tax relief,” she said, adding that she was informed of her win by phone on Tuesday.

Suhaida Raeze, 36, the grand winner of the WOW! Superheroes Series Draw who took home RM30,000 in cash, said the win was a pleasant surprise, as she had only opened a Simpan SSPN Plus account for her two daughters in the middle of last year.

“I am truly grateful, as I never imagined that saving just RM30 a month for each child could give me the opportunity to win this prize. Alhamdulillah,” she said.

Evita Ang Yen Yen, 30, from Bau, Sarawak, winner of the WOW! Annual Draw in the Gold category who took home a Toyota Vios 1.5G AT, said she had opened a Simpan SSPN Prime account for herself in 2017.

“I’ve been saving consistently since starting work and chose this account for its high dividends and tax assessment relief,” she said, adding that winning a car was totally unexpected, even though it had been a motivating factor in her savings.
