Stormwater Leads To Flash Floods In Capital

12/12/2025 08:43 PM

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 12 (Bernama) -- Heavy rain that hit the capital since 4 pm caused incidents of waterlogging on roads and flash floods in several areas.

The bad weather also led to surface runoff and water pooling on roads, obstructing traffic flow, with stagnant water making it difficult for road users to move around in the affected locations.

The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) Kuala Lumpur Command & Control Centre (KLCCC) reported that waterlogging occurred at Jalan Loke Yew, Jalan Changkat Thambi Dollah and Jalan Yew.
