KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 (Bernama) -- PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) today announced the closure of the Smart Lane on the North-South Expressway (NSE) southbound from Kulai to Senai between KM26.5 to KM19.3, starting Sept 22.
In a statement today, PLUS said the closure is part of the Additional Lane Project from Senai Utara to Kulai (Phase 1 Package B) aimed at improving highway infrastructure in Johor.
“Throughout the construction works, the existing two lanes at the affected stretch will remain open to maintain traffic flow and minimise disruption to motorists.
“Highway users are advised to plan their journeys using the PLUS app for the latest traffic updates and obey all traffic signage and instructions issued by PLUS personnel when passing through the construction zone,” the statement said.
For real-time information, users may also refer to the PUTRI Virtual Assistant, X@plustrafik, electronic sighboards (VMS) at selected locations or contact PLUSLine at 1800-88-0000 in case of emergencies, according to the statement.
