Ahmad Zahid Extends Condolences To Dr Akmal Saleh On Father’s Passing

KUALA LUMPUR, July 11 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today conveyed his condolences to UMNO Youth chief Datuk Dr Akmal Saleh on the passing of his father.

In a Facebook post, Ahmad Zahid described the death of ‘Cikgu Saleh Lempah’ on a Friday morning, the most blessed day of the week, as a profound loss.

“This Friday morning, I received yet another sorrowful news of the passing of the beloved father of UMNO Youth chief Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh, the late Cikgu Saleh Lempah.

“…I understand the depth of Dr Akmal’s love for his father. Cikgu Saleh was a source of inspiration and strength in his son’s journey to lead the youth of Malaysia,” he said, praying that Saleh’s soul be showered with mercy, forgiven of all sins, and placed among the righteous. 

“To Dr Akmal and the entire family, I pray that you are granted strength and resilience in facing this difficult ordeal.

“Insya-Allah, a son’s unwavering love will continue to accompany his father’s soul through constant prayers and ongoing acts of charity,” he said.

Ahmad Zahid also extended condolences to the family of Kuala Langat UMNO division chief Rozana Kamarulzaman, who passed away at 1.47 am today, describing the passing of ‘Ojane’, as she was known, as a significant loss not only to her family but also her comrades in arms and grassroots members of the party.

Ahmad Zahid prays that the family is granted strength and patience in facing the loss.

“May her soul be placed among the righteous and granted paradise,” he added.
