KUALA LUMPUR, June 3 (Bernama) -- Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp) today launched the Life at Work Awards 2025 (LAWA 2025), introducing three new categories, in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the awards to recognise the efforts of various parties in strengthening progressive and inclusive workplace practices in Malaysia.
The three categories are Future Universities and Colleges; Future Schools; and Change Catalysts.
TalentCorp chairman Wong Shu Qi said the introduction of the new categories is aimed at expanding recognition for the education sector, which plays a crucial role in shaping future talent.
“LAWA 2025 is aimed at driving change and not only with recognising sustainability and inclusivity efforts in the industry, but this award has also been expanded to include recognition of schools and universities," she said when speaking at the launching of LAWA 2025 here today.
Meanwhile, TalentCorp group chief executive officer Thomas Mathew said since its introduction in 2013, LAWA has been a catalyst for organisations to build a balanced and positive work culture.
"Through workplace practices that support work-life balance, we can enhance workforce well-being, strengthen productivity, and cultivate an inclusive and sustainable work culture," he said.
Themed ‘Driving Inclusivity, Empowering Sustainability’, the LAWA 2025 edition will see 13 categories being contested.
Applications for LAWA 2025 will be open from June 20 to Aug 3, 2025, with the judging sessions taking place in August and September, while the awards ceremony is scheduled for October this year.
