PETALING JAYA, March 29 (Bernama) -- The Litrak Frequent Travellers Programme (LFTP), which has been offering toll rebates to the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP) users since 2009, will end on April 1.
According to Amanat Lebuhraya Rakyat Berhad (ALR), as of last year, under the programme, Litrak has distributed almost RM9.3 million in toll rebates in addition to providing many benefits and easing the financial burden of frequent LDP users.
Through the LTFP, users who pay tolls through electronic transactions (Touch 'n Go/Smart Tag) with a minimum of 100 or more transactions at LDP within one calendar month are eligible for a 20 per cent free top-up (rebate) based on the transaction amount.
“We understand the importance of LFTP to users, but after careful evaluation, we have decided to terminate this programme.
“Even though the programme is terminated, LFTP users can still make rebate redemptions within six months according to eligibility. The validity period is extended until Sept 30 subject to the terms and conditions of the programme,” said ALR in a statement.
ALR also extended its apology to LDP users for any inconvenience caused following the termination of the programme and is committed to continue improving highway services in the future.
