UTP CLINCHES THIRD CONSECUTIVE WIN AT PUTRA BRAND AWARDS

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 6 (Bernama) -- Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) has again earned recognition at the prestigious Putra Brand Awards, securing its third consecutive win in the Education and Learning category.

In a statement, UTP said the university took home the bronze award, solidifying its position as a brand of excellence in the Malaysian educational landscape.

"Notably, UTP stands out as the sole winner among universities located outside the Klang Valley. This achievement emphasises the significance of a well-crafted branding and marketing strategy in elevating a brand to be top of mind among stakeholders, regardless of the location," it said.

UTP said the consecutive victories at the Putra Brand Awards are a testament to its strong brand presence, unwavering commitment to academic distinction, and significant contributions to the nation's education sector. 

"It highlights UTP's dedication to excellence in education and its role in shaping well-rounded global leaders in science, technology, and engineering for the future," read the statement.

It said the university looks forward to leveraging this success and providing an exceptional and wholesome customer experience and services to its stakeholders - the students, parents, and collaborators.

The Putra Brand Awards held on Jan 19 at a hotel here, is an annual event that recognises the most preferred brands that have successfully built solid relationships and connections with consumers through impactful branding strategies in Malaysia.

The winners were selected based on a survey conducted with over 11,000 respondents.
