Interesting Activities Await Visitors At 'segalanya Felda' Carnival In Felda Chemomoi

BENTONG, Sept 30 (Bernama) -- Various interesting activities await visitors at the third edition of the ‘Segalanya Felda’ carnival which will be held in the Mempaga Felda region in Pahang from Oct 1-2.

The Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) in a statement today said this edition will feature the ‘Malam Cinta Rasul: Felda Berselawat’ programme in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration, with special performances by the famous nasyid group Inteam and singer Black.

‘Rahmah’ sales by various agencies as well as Felda entrepreneurs will also be held to benefit locals as well as visitors.

"This can also stimulate local economic activities in addition to giving all visitors the opportunity to get basic necessities at cheaper prices," read the statement.

According to Felda, visitors also have the opportunity to get a free health check-up as well as participate in various competitions and sports activities during the two-day carnival to be held at Dataran Felda Chemomoi.

"Felda welcomes everyone in Pahang to the Segalanya Felda Carnival at Felda Chemomoi on Oct 1 and 2 to experience the excitement at the carnival and the hospitality of Felda folk," it said.

Felda said with the younger generation of settlers now representing a larger percentage of the Felda community, the carnival could also serve as a medium to increase the involvement of youth in community activities.

The Segalanya Felda Carnival was previously held in the Raja Alias Felda region in Negeri Sembilan and Alor Setar Felda region in Kedah.
