KEPALA BATAS, Sept 30 (Bernama) -- About 5,000 participants from Penang and neigbouring states such as Kedah, took part in Permodalan Nasional Bhd's (PNB) MSAM Aliff Walk, held in conjunction with Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia (MSAM) 2023 here today.
PNB in a statement today, said the event was fun and cheerful with the participation of families with children, sports enthusiasts, and local communities from diverse backgrounds, in the 5KM Walk (Fun Walk) and 10KM Run (Non-Competitive Run) categories.
Present to flag off the runners was State Youth, Sports and Health Committee chairman Daniel Gooi, witnessed by Pinang Tunggal assemblyman Bukhori Ghazali and PNB Deputy President & Group Chief Financial Officer, Datuk Mohd Nizam Zainordin.
MSAM Aliff Walk offered 1,000 lucky draw prizes and MSAM merchandise including the grand prize, a Honda Vario 160 motorcycle which was won by Norlyza Mat Zain, 47, from Tasik Gelugor.
MSAM 2023, the largest annual financial literacy carnival is PNB’s signature event as part of its continuous efforts to create awareness on smart financial planning and cultivate the habit of saving.
Visitors can come visit the exhibition booths in Setia Fontaines, Bertam and also enjoy the live digital content via MSAM Facebook and YouTube.
