Gm Klang Honours Teachers With Free Food Vouchers To Celebrate Teachers Day

KUALA LUMPUR May 14 (Bernama) -- GM Klang Wholesale City will organise the ‘Cikgu, Jom Makan!’ campaign specially for teachers in Malaysia from May 16 to 31.

Its Senior Communications Manager Norsuhaida Othman said the campaign was to honour teachers who educate the younger generation and to mark the Teachers Day celebration on May 16.

“To honour teachers who shop at GM Klang, we will give free food vouchers to the first 500 teachers who purchase RM100 or more at any store here with a maximum combination of two receipts and they can redeem the vouchers on our GM Business Community App.

“It is easy to redeem, teachers just need to present the receipts at the customer service counter and show them a photo with their students in school as confirmation,” she said in a statement today, adding that teachers could learn of the events and promotions at GM Klang via the app.

“Teachers are the main group of GM Klang customers. Most of them come here to buy school supplies for school events at wholesale prices,” she said.

There were also teachers who brought students on learning visits to GM Klang so that they would be inspired to go into business in the future.

“Through this campaign, teachers can shop and also stop and have a free meal sponsored by GM Klang,” she said.
