KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 17 (Bernama) -- Work to repair Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) assets affected by a landslide and fallen trees in Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Raya, Seremban last night has been completed and the electricity supply was restored at 8.20 pm today.
TNB said in a statement tonight that the repair works were carried out immediately after receiving confirmation from the authorities that the road leading to the scene of the incident was safe.
Yesterday, 25 people from five families in Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Raya were reported to have been stranded after a landslide and fallen trees had cut off road links to the village.
The incident, which was the result of continuous heavy rain, also caused a power outage in the village.
