KOTA BHARU, Nov 7 (Bernama) -- A total of 207 flood victims in Kelantan are currently taking shelter at four temporary relief centres (PPS) in Pasir Mas and Gua Musang districts as of 3 pm today.
In a statement today, Kelantan State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) Secretariat said all victims from 45 families are housed at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Tok Deh, Pasir Mas, and SK Jeram Tekoh, Dewan Semai Bakti Felda Chiku 7, and SK Limau Kasturi (1) in Gua Musang.
According to the Department of Irrigation and Drainage’s flood info website at https://publicinfobanjir.water.gov.my, the water level at Sungai Kelantan in Kuala Krai and Kampung Temangan, Machang had exceeded the alert level when it recorded a reading of 20.4 metres and 14.2 m, respectively.
