KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 4 (Bernama) -- The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) will conduct FTX PARADISE 9/22 Exercise (Paradrop, Air Defence, Deep Strike, Insertion, Combat Search, & Rescue and Extraction) and Elangaroo 22 Exercise with Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) from Nov 7 to 18.
The RMAF Headquarters said in a statement today that both exercises will involve several air bases in Peninsular Malaysia.
“During the exercise, these aircraft will perform low-flying flights during the day and night in several areas around the airspace of Peninsular Malaysia, Butterworth in Penang, Kuantan in Pahang, and other areas that have been gazetted for the exercise locations.
“The public is advised not to be anxious and worried if they see RMAF and RAAF planes flying low during the exercise period,” the statement reads.
This exercise by the RMAF to ensure that team capability and readiness are always at the best level, especially in protecting the sovereignty of the country’s airspace, and improving the competence of airforce personnel.
