Universal Serviced Offices expands service operations in Labuan

LABUAN, Oct 28 (Bernama) -- Universal Serviced Offices & Management Limited (USO), the largest serviced office facility operator in Labuan, has expanded its service operations barely eight months after its launch in Malaysia’s international business and financial centre.

Following its expansion, USO now has two serviced offices -- the first on the 16th floor of the main tower at the Financial Park Complex, while its newly-opened space is located on the sixth floor of the same building.

Its chief executive officer, Hesham Mansour, said the expansion reflected USO’s confidence in the high demand for serviced offices, especially from the international business and financial sector players in the island. 

“With the increasing number of local and international firms occupying our premises on the 16th floor (of main tower), we have decided to increase our investment in this island through expansion of our service operation.

“This expansion is not possible without the support and confidence of our clients and Big Rewards members,” he told Bernama today.

USO launched its largest serviced office space in Labuan on February 21 this year, offering 161 fully-equipped seats, commonly known as ‘hot desks’, and occupying 9,174 square feet of space on the 16th floor of the Financial Park Complex's main office tower. It also offers 59 office units.

Hesham said the newly-opened USO’s serviced office on the sixth floor has 63 workstations.

As at April 6 this year, USO became the first Malaysian-based serviced office company to accept cryptocurrency for its rental payment transaction or bill payment option.

“We hope our world-class facilities at our premises will able to provide an attractive option for all companies looking for a business base in Labuan. 

“Our flexible office offerings with all associated services offer our clients many affordable options,” he said. 

Hesham said the recent-launched USO Wellness, which offers various activities, helps to ensure USO’s clients have ready access to activities that promote better physical and mental health for a balanced life. 

“This is a free programme...We will continue down this path and offer our clients goods and services that can enrich their lives,” he added.
