KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 (Bernama) -- Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah expressed his majesty’s deepest condolences to the entire family of former minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri over the passing of his son Hammad Zulkifli this morning.
The Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah also expressed her majesty’s deepest condolences to the family.
According to Istana Negara’s official Facebook posting, the King and Queen in expressing their condolences to the family said that they also shared in the sorrow of the passing of the minister’s beloved son.
Their majesties also hoped that Zulkifli’s family members would be patient and be able to endure the sadness during this time of grief and loss.
Zulkifli’s son Hammad, 22, who passed away at 5.22am due to fourth and fifth stage cancer (right soft tissue sarcoma) was buried in Nilai at 11.30am today.
