KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 (Bernama) -- The National Unity Ministry (KPN) has signed a cooperation note with the Agriculture and Food Industries Ministry (MAFI) to forge a strategic collaboration in the development of the Community Agriculture Programme, which is the Keluarga Malaysia Kebuniti Project.

In a statement, KPN said through this cooperation, it has joined the Policy and Coordination Committee of the Urban Community Agriculture Programme which involved the various ministries, departments and related agencies.

Through this cooperation, KPN and MAFI will draw up and implement various development programmes and agriculture projects which will be carried out by the Rukun Tetangga communities nationwide, thus helping to strengthen the country's food supply chain and reduce the cost of living for the people.
