JAKARTA, Aug 6 (Bernama) -- TV AlHijrah Malaysia has been named No.1 Indonesian Trusted Award 2022 under the ‘ASEAN Most Promising Islamic TV Station’ category by Indonesia Award Magazine (IAM), a market research and event company.
The category recognised Malaysian first Islamic free-to-air television's overall management as well as corporate governance and responsibility, IAM vice chairman Rafanara Paramudya said.
He handed over the award to TV AlHijrah's head of media integration and corporate affairs group Saifulizan Sidek at the event in south Jakarta on Friday’s night.
Commenting on the achievement, its chief executive officer Namanzee Harris said: "We've made our presence felt including in a neighboring country through our programmes."
The company is dedicated to harnessing cutting-edge technology and new media, and continues to be creative in its programme offerings.
TV AlHijrah is owned and operated by Al-Hijrah Media Corporation, a company under the purview of Department of Islamic Development Malaysia of the Prime Minister's Department.
It broadcasts from its headquarters in the Islamic Centre Complex, Kuala Lumpur.
