CAR REPOSSESSOR KILLED AFTER BEING SLASHED WITH MACHETES
SHAH ALAM -- A car repossessor died after he was believed to have been attacked and slashed by several machetes-wielding individuals this morning.
North Klang district police chief, ACP S. Vijaya Rao said in the 9.47 am incident, the North Klang District Control Centre received a distress call about a fight at Jalan Serindit 9, Taman Eng Ann in Klang
Vijaya Rao said that based on the information received a team was dispatched to the location and upon arrival found a 47-year-old man had died.
“The deceased died due to the injuries he sustained to his body, hands and head.
“Our investigations revealed that the victim was attacked and slashed with by several men but the motive is still being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder,” he said in a statement.

DAP YOUTH LEADER CHARGED IN COURT FOR INSULTING
BUKIT MERTAJAM — A Bukit Mertajam DAP Youth leader pleaded not guilty at the Magistrate's Court here today on a charge of uttering insulting words.
Lim Zheng Han, 25, was charged with committing the offence with the intention of provoking a breach of the peace outside the Insadunia food court at about 2 pm on March 25.
He is charged under Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955, which carries a RM100 maximum fine if found guilty and Registrar Hasliza Razak who sat as magistrate allowed Lim to be released on a bail of RM500 and fixed July 1 for re-mention.
The media previously reported that Lim led a small protest outside the food court to condemn the visit of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to Penang on March 25.
