KOTA KINABALU, May 19 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob attended the Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) Aidilfitri open house at The Magellan Sutera Harbour Resort here today.
Hosted by Sabah BN Chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, the event was also attended by Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor who is also Sabah Perikatan National (PN) and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) chairman.
Also present were local party presidents such as Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan of Sabah Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR), Tan Sri Joseph Kurup (Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah - PBRS), Datuk Yong Teck Lee (Sabah Progressive Party - SAPP), Datuk Seri Anifah Aman (Parti Cinta Sabah), Datuk Peter Anthony (Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat - KDM) as well as Sabah former chief minister Tan Sri Musa Aman.
Clad in turquoise Baju Melayu, the Prime Minister arrived at the event venue at 4 pm with Sabah leaders.
More than 3,000 guests comprising members of Sabah political parties as well as BN component parties attended the open house.
The guests were entertained by Sabah-born performers such as Elica Paujin, the Masmona buskers, Qhalisya and Nur Fazz.
Ismail Sabri was also seen getting acquainted with the guests at the two-hour event.
