KOTA BHARU, May 7 (Bernama) -- The Estate Distribution Section under the Department of the Director-General of Lands and Mines (JKPTG) will be upgraded to a department by the end of this year, said Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan
He said that discussions were being held with the Public Service Department (PSD) currently on the allocation and appointments, with the highest post being the director-general.
“I see the need is truly pressing to upgrade the Estate Distribution Section to a department because many cases are outstanding involving applications for, and divisions of inheritances,” he told reporters after attending an Aidilfitri open house at Kampung Sireh here today.
