RTM lines up special programmes in conjunction with Budget 2022

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21 -- Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) is organising various special programmes over its TV and radio channels in conjunction with Budget 2022 which will be tabled on Oct 29.

In a statement today, RTM said that these programmes involve the Pre-Budget 2022 programme (from Oct 25 to 28), and the live broadcast of the presentation of Budget 2022 by Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz on Oct 29 and the Post Budget 2022 from Oct 29.

According to the statement, the special programmes in conjunction with Budget 2022 will also continue throughout November.

“TV1's ‘Biz Malaysia’ programme in the 2 pm time slot will feature four different titles starting with ‘Budget 2022 and Continuity of Recovery’ (Oct 25).

"It involves discussions with the Finance Minister on the government's aspirations and the people's hopes for Budget 2022 as well as how it will be expressed in the initiatives that will be designed for the continued recovery of the country and the 'Malaysian Family'," said the statement.

Apart from that the other topics include: "Budget 2022: Strengthening the Malaysian Economy" (Oct 26); “Youth Budget” (Oct 27); “Malaysian Family Budget” (Oct 28); “Special Narrative Talk” (Oct 27); Budget 2022 Analysis (Oct 29); “Budget 2022 & Vision of Prosperity 2030 (WKB2030)” (Oct 30); and “Budget 2022 & Digital Transformation” (Oct 31).

RTM radio networks namely NASIONALfm, TRAXXfm, ASYIKfm, AiFM, MINNALfm, and KLfm will also come up with special programmes in conjunction with Budget 2022 that will meet the needs of their target listeners.
