KUCHING, Sept 23 -- Out the 1,766 COVID-19 positive cases in Sarawak reported today, only 15 have lung infection, requiring ventilators.
The State Disaster Management Committee in a statement said 1,751 of the cases had minor or no symptoms, with the number of cumulative cases reaching 190,609.
Today, Sarawak also reported 15 more fatalities from the viral infection with 13 of the cases recorded between Sept 17 and 21 Sept and two on Sept 22 , bringing the total number so far to 725.
JPBN also announced the termination of four COVID-19 clusters, namely the Kampung Bunuk and Kampung Bako di Kuching, Jalan Buan in Tatau and Jalan Hospital in Sri Aman, while 131 clusters are still active.
