ONLY 142 TEACHERS IN NEGERI SEMBILAN NOT READY TO BE VACCINATED
KUALA PILAH, Sept 21 (Bernama) -- Only 142 out of 17,459 teachers in Negeri Sembilan are not ready to receive the COVID-19 vaccine jabs, state Education director Md Fiah Md Jamin said.
He said he had met with the teachers involved either virtually or face to face to find out their real reasons for not taking the vaccine.
“Most of them said because it is their choice and some did not offer any reason as to why they did not want to be inoculated. However, the number only represents a small percentage of the overall teachers in the state,” he said after visiting the vaccination centre for the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme for Adolescents here today.
