KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 2 -- The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) today presented contributions in the form of laptops and scholarships worth RM1,000 each to 20 selected Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) students.
The contributions were presented by Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Dr Ahmad Masrizal Muhammad when he visited the varsity.
“The contributions were given to 20 needy students,” he told reporters.
He also expressed satisfaction with UPNM’s post-COVID-19 pandemic preparations in the management of students after attending a briefing session on the university’s direction and latest developments.
“I am very confident after listening to the explanation by UPNM that it is ready for the intake of new students,” he said.
He also viewed research exhibitions related to innovative products as well as various other research by researchers and UPNM staff.
Also present were UPNM vice-chancellor Lt Gen Datuk Hasagaya Abdullah, MOHE representatives as well as UPNM’s top management.
