As for the area of study under Digital Citizens and Cyber Wellness, MCMC said it aims to clear the gaps that affect participation, positive consumption and well-being in a world increasingly dependent on digital technology.
As for Digital Inclusion, it aims to clarify the gaps related to factors that impede equality of access, to ensure that no one is denied the right to enjoy the benefits of digital connectivity, said MCMC.
More info can be obtained via https://www.mcmc.gov.my/en/grants/2021-digital-society-research-grant-call-for-propo and the submission period will close on Sept 8 at 5 pm.
The DSRG grant, launched in July 2020, aims to build on the evidence-based research needed to promote and improve understanding of human and social factors, which influence and contribute to the use and practice of digital technologies and services.
MCMC, through the grant, seeks a combination of open and guided research projects to clarify regulatory and development gaps, as well as recommending appropriate actions.
