KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 18 -- Tioman Harbor in Teluk Gading, Kuala Rompin, Pahang has been renamed Teluk Gading Passenger Ferry Terminal starting Feb 11.
The Marine Department (JLM) in a statement today said the name change was to reflect the actual location of the passenger ferry terminal just like the Kuah Passenger Terminal in Langkawi and Lumut Passenger Terminal in Perak.
"As the agency that regulates the terminal, JLM would like to thank the Pahang State Secretary and the state government for approving the name change," it said.
