KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 3 -- The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) today issued a warning of dangerous weather with very heavy rain expected in Terengganu, Pahang and Johor until tomorrow.
MetMalaysia in a statement issued at 8.35 tonight informed that Terengganu involved Kemaman district, while Pahang in Raub, Jerantut, Bentong, Temerloh, Maran, Kuantan, Pekan and Rompin besides Mersing district in Johor.
The bad weather warning with continuous heavy rain were expected to involve Dungun districts in Terengganu, Pahang (Cameron Highlands, Lipis and Bera) and Segamat and Kluang districts in Johor, until this Tuesday.
Meanwhile, alert weather warning with heavy rain until Tuesday were also expected to occur in Kelantan and Terengganu involving the districts of Besut, Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Hulu Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu and Marang.
The same weather conditions were also forecasted until tomorrow involving the districts of Kinta; Kampar; Bagan Datuk; Hilir Perak; Batang Padang and Muallim in Perak; Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor and Hulu Selangor districts in Selangor;
Tangkak, Muar, Batu Pahat, Pontian, Kulai, Kota Tinggi and Johor Bahru districts in Johor; besides Sabah involving the West Coast (Kota Belud), Sandakan (Telupid and Beluran) and Kudat.
