KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 3 -- A moderate earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale hit Sulawesi, Indonesia, at 4.36 am today.
According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), the quake occurred about 97 kilometres north east of Kendari, Indonesia, at a depth of 43 km.
However, it posed no tsunami threat to Malaysia.
