Les' Copaque earns recognition at 'Made For The World' International Awards

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 11  -- Local animation production company, Les' Copaque Productions Sdn Bhd was recognised acknowledged as one of the best companies from Malaysia at the 2020 ‘Made For The World’ International Awards and Conference here recently. 

According to the statement by organiser of 'Made Of The World' NiagaTimes, the recognition was given to celebrate the leaders of economy among industry players who have managed to continue operating and contributing to the economy during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Les' Copaque's achievement was evaluated based on their performance throughout 2019 and 2020 and dominating the local and international television stations, such as in other Southeast Asian countries, through Disney Channel Asia, as well as Turkey.

Les' Copaque, the intellectual property owner of various creative industry content, such as Upin & Ipin, Puteri, Pada Zaman Dahulu and DaDuDiDo, managed to record 10 million subscribers on their YouTube channel after the film Upin & Ipin: Keris Siamang Tunggal was listed among the 32 nominees in the Best Animation Film category at the 92nd Academy Awards.

In addition, other local companies like Xmegami Sdn Bhd and Red Wheels Trading were also listed for the first-round selection of the 2020 'Made For The World' awards.

The 2020 'Made For The World' International Awards and Conference was organised as an initiative of media producer NiagaTimes in collaboration with Top 10 of Asia as a programme to highlight the achievements and contributions of entrepreneurs in e-commerce, cooperatives, online and export sectors.

Participation in the second round of selection is ongoing. Featuring 15 main categories and 10 cooperative categories, selection of companies is still open and applications can be made via email at support@niagatimes.com.
