IPOH, Oct 29 -- The Perak Information Department (JaPen) in collaboration with several government agencies and authorities is organising the Community Action Programme (CAP) to explain the new normal of life during COVID-19 pandemic to the people.
Its director Mohd Taib Ubah said the programme in collaboration with the police, Rela and state Health Department had been carried out in several districts including Hulu Perak, Perak Tengah, Manjung and Taiping and will continue in several other districts soon.
"We will continue the programme throughout the state to explain and disseminate information to the community on the importance of complying with the standard operating procedures (SOP) set by the National Security Council (MKN),” he told reporters after the launching of the programme at Surau At-Tarbiyah Taman Cempaka compound here today.
The programme was launched by Kamarulzaman Abdullah, a councillor of the Ipoh City Council.
