KUALA LUMPUR, July 8 -- Local self-service laundry company dobiQueen is introducing a Queen of the House Scheme (Skim Ratu Rumah or SRR) offering job opportunities to those affected by the Movement Control Order (MCO), especially single mothers.
The founder of dobiQueen, Nini Tan said the SRR initiative had a similar objective as the National Economic Recovery Plan (PENJANA), that is to assist the less fortunate and jobless groups and to focus on local product and services.
“Those living in areas near dobiQueen branches are encouraged to apply. They can work without having to travel far, thus save on transportation costs as well as avoid being exposed to the risk of contracting COVID-19,” she said in a statement.
According to her, the selected candidates would represent all dobiQueen branches in the Klang Valley, and the dobiQueen outlets under them must always be clean and neat in line with the standards set by the laundrette.
“dobiQueen will also offer a monthly cash contribution of RM50 through the SRR to ease the burden of selected single mothers with children aged seven and below,” she said.
Those interested can go to www.dobiqueen.my, e-mail their particulars to hr@fotozzoom.com or contact 012-9339980 for more details.
dobiQueen, which was established in August 2015, has 67 branches operating at several locations in Ampang, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya and Puchong, with 120 employees.
