PDRM announces 22 transfers effective June 22

KUALA LUMPUR, May 22  -- Penang NCID (JSJN) chief ACP Maidu Abu Bakar is among 22 senior officers of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) who are involved in changes of posts effective June 22.

PDRM Corporate Communications chief Datuk Asmawati Ahmad, in a statement today, announced that Maidu would be appointed as the Bukit Aman JSJN (Intelligence/International Relations) narcotics principal assistant director, as acting SAC.

Other transfers, among others, involved the Kuantan, Pahang Internal Security and Public Order Department's General Operations Force (GOF) Southeast Brigade deputy commander, ACP Nordin Manan who would be appointed as the Bukit Aman Integrity and Standard Compliance Department (JIPS), Standard Compliance Division, (Investigation, Legal/Case Studies) principal assistant director with the rank of acting SAC.

The Kota Setar, Kedah district police chief ACP Mohd Rozi Jidin had been appointed as Prime Minister’s Department, Protection Division deputy director-general with the rank of acting SAC.

In addition, Kuala Lumpur Special Branch (Management and Co-ordination) deputy chief, ACP Mohd Zakarim Abdullah Zakaria had been appointed as Bukit Aman, JIPS, Integrity Division, (Complaint Management) assistant director.

Other changes also saw the Bukit Aman JIPS, Standard Compliance Division, Compliance Branch, (Zone A) Compliance Staff Officer being appointed as Kedah JIPS head with the rank of acting ACP.

Asmawati said Bukit Aman JIPS, Standard Compliance Division, Intelligence/Operations Branch, Operations Staff Officer, Supt Mohamad Farouk Esha was appointed as Bukit Aman, JIPS, Standard Division, (Compliance), assistant director as acting ACP.

In the meantime, Bukit Aman, JIPS, Standard Compliance Division, Compliance Branch, (Zone B) Compliance Staff Officer, Supt Ng Siew Hiang was appointed as Johor JIPS chief as acting ACP. 

Other changes also involved Bukit Aman, JIPS, Governance/Integrity Division, Governance/General Policing Staff Officer Supt Amran Ab Rashid who was appointed as Perak JIPS chief with the rank of acting ACP.
