KUALA LUMPUR, March 26 -- Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana) intends to help out a GrabFood delivery rider who crashed in an incident that involved one of its GoKL buses by getting him a brand new motorcycle.
Prasarana, in a statement today, said the incident which has gone viral on social media, took place on Tuesday at 2 pm at the Jalan Raja Chulan intersection here.
“Prasarana would like to apologise to the GrabFood delivery rider and would like him to contact Rapid Bus Communications Unit chief Hazimin Sulaiman via WhatsApp at 016-6760297,” the statement read.
Prasarana also said that the bus captain involved in the incident had been identified and follow up action will be taken pending police investigations after a police report was lodged over the matter.
“All of our bus captains undergo a comprehensive training programme and also retraining programmes to ensure they keep providing good and safe services as well as adhere to traffic rules and regulations.
“Prasarana will lend our fullest cooperation to the police in their investigations,” the statement read further.
