Missing Policeman Returns Home After Four-day Disappearance

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 20 Bernama) -- A police personnel, reported missing since last Thursday (Oct 16), returned safely to his quarters at the Subang Jaya District Police Headquarters, Jalan USJ 8, early this morning.

Subang Jaya police chief ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat confirmed that the 40-year-old man entered the quarters at 1,45 am, where he was greeted by on-duty staff.

"Upon receiving the information, the investigating officer immediately took him to the USJ8 Police Station to file a report and contacted his wife," Wan Azlan said in a statement.

The policeman, who was in good health, informed authorities that he had been in mosques around Morib and Putra Heights during his absence.

The policeman’s family had filed a police report on Thursday night at around 9.15 pm after he failed to return home.
