KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 (Bernama) -- Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has realigned the placement and duties of a senior officer under probe by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to ensure the smooth running of daily administration.

DBKL, in a statement today, stressed that it views matters concerning integrity, transparency, and governance seriously.

“DBKL’s commitment is to ensure that every administrative matter is carried out with transparency, accountability, and integrity, in line with the values of public service that are grounded in public trust,” the statement read.

Yesterday, MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said four individuals including a Jusa B grade senior officer were detained in Ops DBKL, while 16 individuals have had their statements recorded.

Earlier, MACC reportedly seized over RM200,000 in cash, four telecommunications devices, two vehicles (a Lexus RX500H and a Mini Cooper), as well as branded handbags and shoes, including Hermes and Louis Vuitton, in the course of the investigation.
