TITIJAYA LAND APPOINTS MAHADI CHE NGAH AS NEW CHAIRMAN
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27 (Bernama) -- Titijaya Land Bhd has appointed Datuk Seri Mahadi Che Ngah, the former Kuala Lumpur mayor, as its new chairman of the board on Feb 23, 2024.
He succeeds Tengku Datuk Seri Uzir Ubaidillah, who retired as independent non-executive chairman on Nov 28, 2023.
The property developer believed that Mahadi’s extensive experience in urban and rural planning would be a valuable addition to the leadership team.
“His strategic vision and leadership acumen will be instrumental in guiding Titijaya through its next phase of growth and innovation,” the company said in a statement today.
Mahadi started his 40-year career with the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) in April 1983 as a town planner and has vast experience in urban and rural planning, before rising the ranks to become executive director (planning) until his retirement in 2019.
He is currently the vice-chairman of the Federal Territories Foundation and a board member of MRT Lingkaran Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Mass Rapid Transit Corp Sdn Bhd, appointed to deliver a fully commissioned MRT Circle Line (MRT3) project.
