PETALING JAYA, Dec 5 (Bernama) -- The Muslim Insiders Chambers of Commerce hopes that more banks in Islamic countries will invest, including opening branches, in Malaysia to provide more opportunities for local entrepreneurs to venture into and expand business.

Its president, Adjunct Professor Adam Richman, said the opening of foreign banks such as from Qatar and Dubai which also offer Islamic investment products would pave the way for entrepreneurs and members of the Muslim Insiders Chamber of Commerce to invest without having to pump in capital themselves.

“Foreign investments enable entrepreneurs and organisations in Malaysia to venture into the business sector and expand businesses without having to pump in their own capital.

“At the same time, these investors (who invest here) would give the motivation or push factor (for local entrepreneurs) to increase sales,” he said in a media conference after delivering his address at the Muslim Economy Empowerment Conference 2024 today.

Meanwhile, the conference has a huge potential to become an important platform for networking, cooperation and growth under the Madani Economy landscape in Malaysia.

The conference’s content and focus are in line with the requirements and needs of every entrepreneur facing business challenges in 2024.

Muslim Insiders promotes efforts in sourcing for funds and the injection of funds into businesses by investors, legal assistance, aid in advertising in the mass media as well as various training sessions for workers.
