LG, Kok Siong Electrical partner for the first time to launch brand shop

KUCHING, Aug 27 (Bernama) -- Home appliances manufacturer LG Electronics Malaysia (LG) has partnered a local electronics store Kok Siong Electrical to launch its brand shop here and further expand its footprint in East Malaysia. 

LG managing director Justin Choi said the first-time partnership that has brought the total number of LG brand shops nationwide to 40, would bring in a diverse line-up of the company’s products to the communities. 

“Our commitment to our customers will always remain the top priority. At LG, we continue to place great importance in providing innovative and ground-breaking home appliances and home entertainment products to the consumers throughout the country.

“Growing our business in Kuching gives us the opportunity to connect with more local communities and meet their demands through our cutting-edge products,” he said when officiating at the grand opening of the store here today. 

He said the brand shop will carry some of LG's latest line-up of innovative home appliances and home entertainment products, including (but not limited to) the award-winning OLED TVs, QNED TVs and NanoCell TVs, InstaView Door-in-Door™ refrigerators, TWINWash™ washing machines and the efficient-driven DUALCOOL™ air conditioners.

Meanwhile, Kok Siong Electrical managing director Lo Kock Siong said with the partnership, consumers in Sarawak can gain first-hand experience of innovative home entertainment and home appliance products. 

The political secretary to the Sarawak Premier Tan Kai who was at the event to represent Deputy Premier Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian said the state government always ensure a friendly business environment for the business sector. 

He hoped LG will produce more appliances that are of high quality and affordable as well as environmental friendly.
