KOTA BHARU, Sept 13 -- Kelantan head coach Yusri Che Lah wants his players to keep their focus in following games for the team to chalk up their best position in the Premier League this season.
Yusri said he did not want his boys to be complacent after clinching a slim 1-0 win over Perak II at Sultan Muhamad Ke-lV Stadium here last night.
“The win was the result of the team’s commitment and focus as such the players have maintain the same spirit for the remaining matches,” he said here today.
In last night’s match, Kelantan curved out a narrow 1-0 won over Perak from a goal by Nik Akif Syarihan Nik Mat in the 45th minute.
The Perlis-born coach said he wants his players to be more professional for the remaining Premier League matches.
After seven matches, Kelantan are now in the eighth spot with eight points from three wins, two draws and two defeats.
