Azerbaijan Ambassador to Malaysia Khazar Farhadov said the country's “Great Return” programme was driving efforts to revive the areas through modern infrastructure, smart technologies, and green energy solutions.

“Cities and villages, once reduced to ruins, are now rising from the ashes equipped with modern infrastructure, smart technologies, and green energy solutions,” he said in his speech at the sixth anniversary of Azerbaijan's Victory Day celebration held here on Friday.

Farhadov said the past six years had witnessed an unprecedented chapter of transformation in Azerbaijan.

On regional relations, he said Azerbaijan is committed to sustainable peace and regional cooperation in the South Caucasus.
