Xiaomi Expands Malaysian Retail Network To 100 Stores

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 5 (Bernama) -- Xiaomi has expanded its retail presence in Malaysia to 100 stores across 12 states with the opening of its latest outlet at 118 Mall here, strengthening access to its products, services and after-sales support.

Xiaomi Malaysia Country Manager Xingyu Yang said the milestone reflected growing consumer confidence in the brand and demand for greater access to its products and services.

“Our 100th store reflects the growing trust Malaysians have placed in Xiaomi and the demand for greater access to our products and services. As our presence grows, we recognise that providing a good customer experience goes beyond the point of purchase.

“Beyond providing a space for customers to explore and purchase our products, we want our stores to serve as accessible touchpoints where customers can experience our products firsthand and receive the support they need throughout their ownership journey,” he said in a statement.

Since opening its first physical store in Malaysia in 2017, Xiaomi has expanded its product range to include smartphones, tablets, wearables, smart home devices and lifestyle products, while offering customers opportunities to experience selected large home appliances, obtain guidance from on-site product experts and use doorstep delivery services.

To mark the opening of its 100th store, Xiaomi is offering a series of promotions at the 118 Mall outlet from Nov 1 to 9, featuring discounts of up to RM500 on selected devices, complimentary gifts and purchase rewards.

Among the offers is the Xiaomi 17 Ultra 16GB+512GB variant at RM4,999, compared with its recommended retail price of RM5,499, with a complimentary Photography Kit Pro, while selected purchases also come with gifts including the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active.

Shoppers visiting the outlet on Nov 8 can receive a complimentary Xiaomi card holder by trying any Xiaomi product in-store and following the brand's official social media accounts.

Customers who make purchases on the store's opening day can redeem a complimentary Xiaomi water bottle with a minimum spend of RM199 on a single receipt, while those who spend RM399 on a single receipt can receive a grand opening cross-body bag, subject to availability.

A Lucky Wheel activity running from Nov 1 to 8 entitles customers who spend at least RM500 in a single receipt at the outlet to one spin, with prizes including a Xiaomi 17T Pro, Mi TV P1 43-inch and REDMI Note 15 5G.

Meanwhile, the Flash Hour Deals on Nov 8 and 9 will offer discounts of up to 50 per cent on selected products during designated time slots, including REDMI Buds 8 Active at RM39.50, Xiaomi Watch S4 at RM299.50, Xiaomi Power Bank 10000mAh (Integrated Cable) at RM44.50, Mi Vacuum Cleaner mini at RM99.50, Xiaomi Body Composition Scale S400 at RM59.50 and Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S40 Pro at RM649.50, while stocks last.
