redONE Mobile Partners With Mr Helmet To Offer Helmet Sanitisation At 18 Outlets

PUCHONG, Oct 28 (Bernama) -- redONE Mobile has partnered with CleanXpert Sdn Bhd, the operator of Mr. Helmet, to introduce automated helmet sanitisation services at 18 redONE Mobile outlets across seven states in Peninsular Malaysia.

redONE Mobile Group Chief Sales Officer Ben Teh said the collaboration aimed to offer practical benefits to motorcyclists, particularly gig economy workers who rely on their motorcycles for their livelihoods.

“I think this collaboration is beyond just helmet washing. I think it’s a very good benefit,” he said in his speech at the strategic partnership signing ceremony here.

Teh said the partnership could also pave the way for additional benefits, including allowing subscribers to choose between petrol vouchers and complimentary helmet cleaning sessions in the future.

Meanwhile, CleanXpert Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer Razalee Yahya said the partnership would help make helmet sanitisation services more accessible to all motorcyclists, beyond those working in the gig economy.

“For me, this partnership actually gives us more value to our client and also for everybody to experience as a long-term partnership,” he said.

Razalee expressed hope that the collaboration would grow into a long-term partnership, enabling both companies to expand their services and reach more riders.

Under the partnership, Mr. Helmet’s automated sanitisation machines will be deployed at selected redONE Mobile outlets in Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Terengganu, Kedah, Penang, Melaka and Johor.

The machines will be accessible 24 hours a day, offering basic helmet sanitisation at RM7 per session, VIP cleaning at RM10 and a quick-drying service at RM2.

The initiative also complements redONE Mobile’s existing rider-focused benefits, including complimentary insurance coverage, petrol vouchers and helmets.

The collaboration further enhances the company’s redplanKM48 postpaid plan, designed specifically for e-hailing and p-hailing drivers.

Subscribers will receive a one-year Mr. Helmet membership, including one complimentary VIP cleaning voucher every month for 12 consecutive months, valued at RM120 in total, in addition to the plan’s existing RM120 petrol voucher benefit.
